Pizza Tasting
Last night we had a tasting session for people to try a couple of potential new specials. Both included our new tofu “cheese” – a creamy tofu paste we’ve been working on for the past few weeks – instead of regular mozzarella.
We invited a few brave souls to taste the fruits of our labour, and to help us decide which of the combinations should grace our specials board for the next few weeks.
We already have one vegan pizza – the ever-popular cashew cheese – on our regular menu, but we wanted to see if we could create another special with tofu which would be popular with both vegans and carnivores alike. Our Aubergine and Tofu definitely fulfilled this criteria, and was an overwhelming favourite. We’re already getting another batch ready so it should be on the specials board by tonight.
