Notting Hill Carnival and Gluten Free Pizza

Notting Hill Carnival Pizza London

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who came in yesterday to try our pizzas made without gluten.

I hope you all had a great time, and enjoyed the b-tempted goodie bag too.

Your feedback was extremely useful, and thankfully largely positive, so we’ll be looking to introduce the new pizza base to our menu over the next few weeks. We still want to make a few tweaks to our recipe to help us get a more consistent base, but on the whole we’re happy enough to put it out there.

A lot of you have been asking us about our plans for Notting Hill Carnival recently, so I thought I’d also share with you some of what we’ll be doing. It’s our first carnival – as a business at least – so we’re not totally sure how it’ll go.

To get into the festival spirit, we’ll be launching a new special – Jerk Chicken – which we’ve been developing with the help of some local Jerk experts (more on this later).

Unfortunately, we’re going to have to close on the Saturday (28th Aug), as we’re having our windows boarded up to stop any over-exuberant revellers from smashing them – we’re told this is par for the course at carnival time.

We will be open on the Sunday and Monday of the carnival for takeaway, with a reduced menu. If you’re around for carnival make sure you come by and say hi!

We’ll be back open from 6pm on Wednesday 1st September.
