Another Saturday, another team effort

Painting in progress at 6 Chepstow RoadExterior refurbishment work in progress in Notting Hill

This weekend we took advantage of the glorious sunshine to re-paint the exterior of Otto.

Having spent 3 days sanding the wooden frames, the big reward came at the end of the day when we stood back and admired our black paint job. With the help of 7 friends we applied two coats of exterior wood paint to the timber frames very quickly. We’ve refurbished several of the timber batons, sanding down the hardwood, resizing them to give them room ‘to breathe’, screwing them back in to place and sealing them.

The outside of the property is looking a lot better already, and that’s even before we change over the main fascia. The corner unit we have gives passers by and sunlight plenty of chances to find us.

  1. Hey,
Walking by the soon-to-come Otto everyday, I can notice improvement after improvement to the outside, inside, details an bulk jobs…this is getting quite exciting! Bar, paint, floor cleaning, name out, and now tables up…!
When is the Grand Opening Day?

    Good luck!
